I’m sorry, you must have accidentally somehow gotten the file with pictures of me Photoshopped as various American presidents.

Ahhh…blogging
Well, I’m obviously not that great at blogging, but I love looking at everyone’s posts. I think it just makes me anxious to post my thoughts and what I do.
But maybe this summer will be different and I’ll post at least once a week! (probably not, don’t expect much).
Well I’ve been in Midland for a little over a week now, and it has been lovely doing nothing and occasionally doing something. I’ve done my annual check ups with the doctor (which is just a bunch of lecturing) and the dentist (which I LOVE, and now my teeth are SUPER clean).
The best part about coming to Midland is people don’t really recognize me that much anymore, which is great since I can decide who I want to talk to. Their reaction is always the same too: “OH, Michelle is that you?”….Everyone should get haircuts, it’s a great thing.
I’ve been restoring some of my grandpa’s old war certificates, they were forgotten about and started to mold, but now they will have a new home in a lovely frame! We even found one that was hidden behind another, which was quite exciting. Once I’ve got some good scans in I’ll post them!
In one week I start my internship, which will be great, since I’m terrible at being bored. And I’m quite nervous (and that is overtaking the excitement at this point) But I do love going somewhere new, where no one knows me. It’s an exhilarating thing to just be anyone in a crowd (just hopefully not to large of a crowd since that would scare me)
Perhaps this will be the summer that I….
(sorry games of thrones commercial came on, next episode looks epic)
I’ve been working on the CMU orientation Logo and this is what I’ve come up with as well as some cmu color tests!
I documented a card game I played with my family over christmas.
Enjoy!
Last summer I took my brothers engagements photos and for a christmas present (he doesn’t know yet!) I printed one of his favorites in CMYK.
I just kind of threw on some type for now…but Enjoy!
I’ve got to do a little more color editing too…
So for my final project in my screenprinting class I drew a transitioning line pattern with ink and then using the fabric made a bow-tie. I’m planning on making many more, but this is the first!
